I booked Stephen to bring a 7 month old filly from mid Wales to Helston in Cornwall. The reason I booked him was because he gave the most realistic time to carry out the journey, he looked at the map and discussed the best route for a young foal. It was always about the best interests of the horse.
Unfortunately the first attempt at transporting her didn't quite go to plan. After 6 hours of trying to persuade the foal into the lorry Stephen called it due to the rapidly dropping temperature (-7). Stephen kept me informed via text and phone call as to what was happening.
Fast forward 2 weeks and on 23rd December he tried again. This time with the help of a few people the filly was loaded in 5 minutes and was on the road by 10.30am. Stephen kept me informed of where they were and how she was doing and gave me about an hours notice of their arrival. At 6.15pm they arrived and the foal was quite happy and had not sweated up at all.
Thank you Stephen for going above and beyond what I expected of a transporter, particularly on the first attempt to load her then going back a second time but most of all ensuring my daughter got her Christmas present on time and making her Christmas!

Wonderful service from both of the husband and wife team , this is the second time I’ve used orchard stud transport in the last month and I would recommend them wholeheartedly, both ponies were well catered for and hope to used them in the future 🦄

We used orchard stud transport to take my daughters horse to a vet hospital in Berkeley . Stephen Delivered her for us on Sunday and pick her up for us today(Monday) . He was so friendly and professional and made the whole trip easy making us feel at ease knowing our horse was in safe hands as she hadn’t been boxed for nearly 5 years . Communication was fantastic with messages being answered straight away . Would highly recommend and will definitely use him again in the future if we need transport . Lisa 🙂
